Jury Comments: Adaptive re-use projects are always a challenge, especially when the parameters are set on a tight 11’-0” structural grid. The raw feeling of the warehouse comes through in the use and application of the selected materials pallet. The deliberate application of materials that penetrate through the depth of the plan and height of the interior serve to act as intuitive way-finding element that unite the various spaces and create a sense of procession when passing through the building.
