CannonDesign has an exceptional opportunity for an Architect in our Buffalo area office. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing architectural support in the design, selection, coordination and detailing of architectural materials and systems. Responsibilities include: Prepare and contribute to design and presentation efforts. Prepare elevations, detailing, wall sections, section details and development of design drawings within all architectural phases. Communicate with other disciplines ensuring coordination of project documents. Assist in coordination of engineering systems. Assist in development and detail of design and concept drawings.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor in Architecture. Bachelors and/or Masters of Architecture from an accredited program preferred. Architectural Registration and LEED accreditation preferred. A minimum of 4 years of related work experience required. Previous experience on mid-to-large scale healthcare, education and/or science and technology projects preferred. Proficiency with Revit required. Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Bluebeam Studio and other graphics/design applications a plus. A strong creative design portfolio is essential, as are strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
